Feeding sheep (442) sold to £160 for a Charolais cross ewe from Kinnahaird Farm. Lewis Livestock Producers prime & feeding sheep (547) sold to £158 for a Texel ram from 22 North Tolsta. THAINSTONE – Aberdeen and Northern Marts sold 2,929 store and island lambs.

Store lambs (1,048) averaged £81.49 and sold to £96 for Tex from Tullochcoy, Crathie. Island consigned lambs (1,516) averaged £75.13 and sold to £97 for Suffolks from Longfield Croft, Dunrossnes­s. Island ewes (30) sold to £90 for Texel crosses from Fairyknowe, Bigton.

Isle of Lewis lambs (263) averaged £67.28 and sold to £97 for Greyfaces from 6a Brue, Barvas.
