The Stobswell Forum will host its AGM on Tuesday May 21 from 6.30pm-8pm at Arthurstone Library’s communities office. Office-bearers and trustees will be elected. New candidates can put their name forward for election.
There will also be a presentation by James Mullen, senior manager (sustainable transport and roads) at Dundee City Council.
Redgorton and Stanley Parish Church will have morning worship on Sunday at 10am in Luncarty Church Centre. It will be led by the Rev Susan Thorburn.
The service will take the form of cafe church with tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout.
A coffee morning for Christian Aid will be held in Stanley Village Hall on Saturday May 11 from 10am-11.30am.
There will be a baking stall and a raffle.
The NHS Fife Patient Focus Group is holding an information event on Saturday May 11 in the Education Centre of Victoria Hospital from 9.30am-1.15pm. The event, organised by diabetes patients in partnership with NHS Fife Diabetes MCN Staff, is open to people in Fife with all types of diabetes, their families, and carers.
It will include presentations on medications, foot care, diabetes and mental health, eye screening, My Diabetes-My Way platform and new technology for type 1 diabetes. Angus Council is seeking suggestions on what could be done to make Angus a cycle- and walkingfriendly area. Ideas can be submitted on the Engage Angus project webpage. The survey closes on May 22.
