After missing a year, the members of the Dundee Arts Society have once more given us a fine art exhibition in the Victoria Art Galleries and following their attractive custom, have arranged for a series of concerts, the first of which was given yesterday afternoon. A cavalcade of spectacular bygone motors roared into Perthshire yesterday. More than 100 vintage vehicles, worth around £25 million in total, arrived at Scone Palace as part of a 750-mile rally. The seventh annual Flying Scotsman event began in Leeds, with overnight stops at Newcastle and Edinburgh, before arriving in the Fair City. Drivers and their navigators made it to the finishing line at Gleneagles Hotel later in the afternoon. The event was organised by the Endurance Rally Association.
