Woodland search returns a blank on missing man
The latest search for a missing Glenrothes man has concluded without producing any new leads.
Police officers and sniffer dogs conducted a three-day search of woodland near Anstruther following information regarding the whereabouts of Allan Bryant Jr.
More than two years after he disappeared following a night out in Glenrothes, the search was prompted by details passed to his family.
Allan Jr’s mother, Marie Degan, said: “When any information comes in the police have to take it seriously, no matter how small it is.
“Every time we know they are investigating we hope that this is it. We just have to hope that soon enough it will be.”
