Crieff Community Trust receives boost to help out path projects

-

Crieff Community Trust (CCT) has been awarded £1,500 by the charity Paths for All.

The money will be used to support the work of CCT’s volunteer paths group, which meet monthly to carry out repair work on local footpaths and cycle routes.

The grant will purchase fuel, a strimmer cord and work gloves for volunteers.

In addition, the funding will be used to create a new ‘welcome’ sign and install a bollard at the entrance to Lady Mary’s Walk and Acorn Dell, at Turretbank Road.

CCT trustee Jim Anderson said: “This will allow us to continue improvements we have begun on the first section of Lady Mary’s.”
