Will-writing solicitors on course to smash £30,000 charity target

-

A Perthshire law firm that takes part in a will-writing drive each year is on course to smash its fundraising target of £30,000.

Macnabs Solicitors, which has branches in Perth, Pitlochry and Blairgowrie, has taken part in Will Aid for the last three years and has made £21,857 to date.

The scheme involves solicitors writing basic wills for their community and instead of charging them a fee, asking for a donation to charity.

This year, Macnabs hope to beat last year’s total of £10,860, which will see them hit their goal.

Andrea Hay, a partner at the firm, said: “We are hugely proud of our team for giving up their valuable time and using their skills for such a worthwhile cause.”
