Celebration as Perth garage business gains FIAT PROFESSIONAL approval.

A Perth family run garage business, established over 30 years ago as a father and son partnership, has become an approved FIAT PROFESSIONAL authorised light commercial vehicle (LCV) repairer. Auto Services Perth Ltd has been in discussions with Fiat for some time before successfully gaining authorisation. Company Director Stephen Crozier explained: “We were approached by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) who were looking for a suitable commercial garage to meet the needs of all their valued customers in the Perth and surrounding area, and we felt it would fit in well with our current business, which is mainly van and truck repairs. They visited our premises in Inveralmond Industrial Estate and when they assessed our current operation we knew they were looking at us in a very positive light. We were required to make some small adaptations and invest in the specific FIAT tooling and equipment” The purpose-built garage facility at Bertha Park View, which opened in 2009, is open from 07:00hrs to midnight Monday to Friday and from 09:00hrs to 22:00hrs at weekends. The body shop is situated at their secondary site also within Inveralmond Industrial Estate. The sites are manned with a team of over 30 staff from receptionists to experienced technicians where there is a wealth of experience and expertise which ensures all customers receive a personal service. Stephen said “The business started with my father and I working out of a small rented unit at St Catherine’s Road in 1981 and has continued to grow from strength to strength and the approval by FIAT PROFESSIONAL has proved all the hard work has been worthwhile.” The team now includes the 3rd generation of the Crozier family, with Stephen’s son Mark heavily involved in the day to day running of the business, but specialising in the recovery side which operates 9 recovery vehicles having recently gained the AA contract for the area. Auto Services Perth Ltd deals with over 40 vehicles on a daily basis with jobs ranging from minor repairs, services, MOTs, major repairs, bodywork and accident recoveries. They service and repair vehicles for SSE, Scottish Water, Yodel, Tesco and TOM fleet through contracts with the major fleet maintenance companies as well as offering the same excellent service to any individual customer. Stephen added: “We can complete 99% of all repairs on vehicles within the company, and for that tiny 1% we will offer advice and refer to other businesses we know we can trust” As well as FIAT PROFESSIONAL (LCV) the team at Auto Services Perth Ltd are approved repairers for Mercedes Benz (LCV), Iveco, Isuzu and Great Wall vehicles. The technical staff currently have a wealth of experience in all these makes, undertaking training courses regularly and will be fully trained by FIAT PROFESSIONAL. “Every day at the garage is a different experience and we are fully prepared for all eventualities that come our way” Stephen added.
