Heifers (22) to 256p and £1,505 for a 588kg Lim from West Bog, and also 256p for a 527kg Lim from Nethermyres, to ave 238p.

A smaller show of 607 lambs met an easier trade on the week, with all classes proving harder to cash.

Lambs to 202.2p for a pen of 46kg Texels from Tulliwhanland and to £95 for a pen of 48.5kg Texels from the same home, to ave 172.1p (back 10.2p on the week, but up 33.5p on the corresponding sale last year). SQQ 184.5p.
