Man due in court over indecent acts allegation

A man is due in court next month in relation to two indecent acts in Cowdenbeath.

Police in Fife confirmed they had arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with the incidents, which both took place on Old Perth Road on September 16 and 28.

The man was alleged to have engaged in a sexual act in front of two 15-year-old girls.

Detective Inspector Colin Robson of Dunfermline CID said: “I believe these were isolated incidents with no impact on the wider community – however, this was very distressing for the girls involved.

“I want to extend my sincere thanks to the public for their help with our investigation.”

The man is expected to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on October 27.
