Tomatin voted top tipple in the Highlands

Tomatin Distillery’s Single Malt Core range won the best drink prize at the Highlands & Islands Food & Drink Awards.

The food and drink industry is integral to the Highlands and Islands, supporting around 30,000 full-time jobs and generating in excess of £1 billion per year for the region.

Elaine Jamieson, head of food and drink at Highlands and Islands Enterprise, praised all the winners and said the food and drink sector is one of Scotland’s best success stories.

The awards were presented by comedian Fred MacAulay.
