CONCERT Friends of Perth Cathedral Music (FPCM) will welcome Perth High School in concert at Perth Cathedral St Ninian’s, North Methven Street, on Saturday November 5, 11.30am to 12.15pm. Tickets will be available at the door priced £7, £5 concessions. FPCM members and accompanied children free. Proceeds go towards musical training in the cathedral. This precedes the community lunch, 12 noon to 1.30pm, priced £4.50, but on production of your concert ticket the cost is £3.50. CARSE OF GOWRIE One of the best known names in contemporary folk music, the Peatbog Faeries, are returning with their 25th anniversary show to the Inchyra Arts Club tomorrow. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. NEEDLEWORK Perth Needlework Circle’s next meeting will be on Wednesday October 26 from 2pm to 4pm at Vision PK, 14 New Row, Perth. The subject is Miniature Kimono and Redwork. KINROSS As part of a UK tour, singer Kiki Dee and her musical partner Carmelo Luggeri will appear at Backstage At The Green in Kinross on November 3. Kiki’s repertoire dates back more than 50 years to her early days as a backing singer for the likes of Dusty Springfield, to her own hits such as I’ve Got The Music In Me and Don’t Go Breaking My Heart – a worldwide hit duet with Elton John. BLAIRGOWRIE An adult female Peregrine falcon which went missing from premises near Blairgowrie Golf Club has been spotted at the town’s Davie Park, but the owner was unable to find him.
