The recent American presidential election prompted a Forfar reader to wax lyrical about the affair. As you’ll see, there’s a theme running through his thoughts on the process:

“The US electorate have dealt with their hearts and not their head when they played their Trump card. Now they will have to get out their spades to dig deep and club together to smooth out the rough diamond they picked from the pack.”
