Stewart windfall for Cowden
Cowdenbeath have landed a four-figure windfall thanks to former Dundee striker Greg Stewart.
Stewart, 26, was a firm favourite at Central Park and scored 32 goals in two seasons as he starred in the Championship before earning a switch to Dens Park.
He joined Birmingham City in the summer for £500,000 and Cowden have confirmed that their solidarity payment will amount to more than £7,000.
It is a meaningful cash boost for the part-time outfit, who were relegated to the bottom tier of the SPFL last season and have toiled under new boss Liam Fox, sitting eighth in League 2.
