People urged to talk about mouth cancer

Scottish and British Lions rugby legend Scott Hastings was on hand to launch Mouth Cancer Awareness month at Dundee Dental School yesterday.

Let’s Talk About Mouth Cancer charity patron Scott urged members of the public to check for signs of the disease – which include persistent mouth ulcers, white or red blotches in the mouth and pain when chewing. Scotland has the highest mouth cancer rate in the UK.
