Shumi Bose talked about her exhibition Home Economics, which was presented at this year’s Venice Architecture Biennale.
She and a team looked at what houses mean in terms of hours, days, months, years and decades.
It looked at issues like shared ownership, the importance of wi-fi, the bed being used more than the sofa during waking hours and how to avoid housework.
Author Gerry Hassan, freshly returned from the US campaign trail, spoke on changing culture, while Duncan of Jordanstone lecturer Andy Milligan targeted the academic thinkers in the audience of around 50.
