On time – or else!

Roy McIntosh of Falkirk has been in touch follwoing his first trip to Dundee for a couple of years. “I was just wandering around and saw the clock at H. Samuel. I can remember that being there for many years and started wondering if it is the original clock? A lady came walking along – she was 90 years old and told me the clock was there when she was a girl. A couple informed me that the corner opposite (Boots) was where couples would meet up . The man said you didn’t dare be a even a minute late – with a clock across the road there was no argument!”
