Blood Jungle

Johnassi Don’t expect lilting whimsy, or minimalist, folkloric Scandi overtones from this Swedish duo. Frontman and guitarist John Engelbert, and drummer Oskar “Ossi” Bonde are all about rock. That said, Johnossi’s fifth record doesn’t yell and thrash around – in fact, for rock, it’s very mellow. 5/10
