Rivers with Jeremy Paxman

New series. The presenter and fishing enthusiast travels along four of England’s greatest rivers, exploring their history, traditions and wildlife, and meeting some of the people whose lives have been shaped by the waterways. The first episode follows the Tweed along the EnglishScottish border, where he helps to shear Cheviot sheep (with somewhat mixed results), tags osprey chicks in a secret mountain location, goes in search of Merlin’s grave and discovers the origins of famous border ballads.
