BANKFOOT: The Bankfoot Wednesday Club’s next meeting is on March 15 when entertainment will be provided by primary one schoolchildren, accordionist Peter Stewart, singer Gill Murray and Joan Blue with the Kilgraston School Scottish Fiddle Group.

FOLK CLUB: Glenfarg Village Folk Club at Backstage at the Green Hotel, Kinross, on Monday March 20 will be an open mic night, 8pm.
INCHYRA: The Byre at Inchyra, a converted and restored building on the Inchyra Estate near Perth, is celebrating after being awarded best wedding venue in the UK and Ireland by bridal magazine Destination Weddings and Honeymoons Abroad.
CYCLING: The Bike Station’s Celebration of Cycling event will take place in Thimblerow car park in Perth on Sunday March 26 from 10.30am to 1.30pm. The event will include free safety checks of bikes and a guided ride of Perth’s traffic free cycle network, showing people how to get around the city easily by bike.
BURRELTON AND WOODSIDE: Jim and Stella Cormie of Perth showed their video featuring Scottish gardens, including their own award-winning garden, at a meeting of Burrelton and Woodside Senior Club. The next meeting, on Thursday March 23, will be the AGM and prize-giving. Entertainment by Tom Clark.
