Lochee United lose out

-

Lochee United lost out 3-0 at Bonnyrigg Rose as the Lothian side made sure they maintained their challenge to league leaders Kelty Hearts.

Rose were reduced to 10 men late on when Lewis Turner was sent off.

Dundonald Bluebell were 5-0 winners over bottom club Fauldhouse United at Park View in a game with three red cards.

A Sam Buchan goal was followed by a counter by Super League leading scorer Lewis McKenzie.

Bluebell’s Calum Rarity was sent off just before the half hour.

Fauldhouse had two men sent off in a second half that saw goals from Mark Forbes, Barry Sibanda and McKenzie.

Hill of Beath had their first league win at home since September, inflicting a damaging defeat on relegation-threatened Jeanfield Swifts.

Colin Wilson and Sean Leishmann scored before Robbie Holden pulled a goal back for Jeanfield, only for Calum Adamson to seal the victory.

Kelty Hearts put the defeat to Jeanfield behind them as they beat 10 man Broxburn Athletic 2-0 at New Central Park.

The Edinburgh side were reduced to 10 men on 20 minutes when goalkeeper Connor Wallace was ordered off for a rash challenge on Sean O’Neill.

The league leaders took the lead right on half time through Jordyn Sheerin, and Stephen Husband made sure of victory seven minutes from time.
