BRIDGE OF EARN: Military enthusiast­s from all over the country will descend on Bridge of Earn tomorrow for the Scottish Military Vehicle Group’s ninth annual militaria sale.

The event in the Institute Hall in the village caters for collectors looking to buy and sell items of militaria, military vehicle parts, tools, books and collectabl­es.

There will be an indoor diorama of military interest and a display of military vehicles outdoors, weather permitting.

As well as preserving vehicles the club also actively raise funds for the Army Benevolent Fund. FLORAL ART: RHS floral art group will hold their meeting on Tuesday at 7.30pm in the Royal George Hotel, Perth.

The demonstrat­or will be Marie Rutherford from Falkirk and her title is ‘Here We Go Again’.

The Easter raffle will take place at the end of the meeting. BOYS CHOIR: The National Youth Choir of Scotland’s National Boys Choir returns to Perth Concert Hall on Saturday April 15 under the baton of conductor Christophe­r Bell.

The choir gives boys aged 10 to 16, with unchanged and changed voices, an opportunit­y to sing together to the highest standard. RIVER TAY: Tay District Salmon Fisheries Board is holding its annual public meeting on Thursday at 7pm in the Birnam Institute.

The meeting is a chance for anglers and the general public to come along and hear about the work of the board over the past year and what it sees as the big issues and priorities that will take up its time over the next 12 months.

Areas of particular interest will include possible causes of the low numbers of autumn fish seen in 2016 and the recent announceme­nt by SSE to restore flow to the River Garry.

Members of the public will also have the opportunit­y to ask questions of the board. CONCERT: The Brandon McPhee Trio are staging a show in Pitlochry town hall on Saturday April 15 at 8pm. The evening will also feature comedian Eddie Rose.
