Kilgraston spot on to win

Kilgraston held their nerve to outscore Dollar Academy on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the final of the Midland Schools Cup on Wednesday.

Dollar were first off the mark with Emily Dark squaring the match before the teams changed ends.

A well-contested second half failed to break the deadlock, taking the teams into the drama of a shoot-out, and once again the Kilgraston girls overturned a single goal deficit to claim the silverware thanks to conversions from Dark, Corrie Hay and Michaela McCarthy to win 3-1 on penalties.
