AUCHTERARD­ER: The Inner Wheel Club of Auchterard­er and District has thanked everyone who supported its recent fundraisin­g evening at the Aytoun Hall.

“The spring concert was a great success raising in excess of £2,000 for our charities – a great result thanks to the generosity of all who participat­ed,” said a spokespers­on. INCHRYA: Acclaimed folk duo Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman will play at Inchyra Arts Club in the Carse of Gowrie on Tuesday.

Doors open at 7pm and the show begins at 8. HOSPITAL CAR SERVICE: Pitlochry urgently needs recruits for the service which involves transport to hospitals in Perth and Dundee.

TENNIS: Pitlochry Tennis Club’s annual meeting will be held on Monday at 7.30pm in the Atholl Palace Hotel. PITLOCHRY: On Friday April 14 there will be a walk with the cross from Pitlochry Church of Scotland from 8am, meeting outside the church at 7.50am.

Later in the day there is a Good Friday Service at 7pm.

On Sunday April 16 the open air ecumenical communion service will be held in the Explorers Garden at Pitlochry Festival Theatre at 7am.

On Easter morning there will be all-age worship at 10.30am in the church during which there will be holy communion.
