Ferry has to turn back

A ferry had to return to port for repairs after windows were damaged in extreme weather.

The NorthLink vessel MV Hrossey left Aberdeen bound for Shetland at 5pm on Tuesday but returned just before 9.30pm.

The company said windows in the bar area were damaged.
