SCONE: Scone WI stages a bingo tea at the RDM Institute tomorrow from 7.30pm. Admission is £1. PERTH: Perth Methodists are holding a soup lunch at their Scott Street church on Saturday from 11.30am until 1.30pm. There will also be a book stall. SCONE: Scone Village Associatio­n’s AGM will be held on Tuesday May 16 in the Robert Douglas Memorial Institute on Abbey Road. There will be a short talk by Mike Moir, editor of the village newsletter Destiny.

Refreshmen­ts from 7pm, business at 7.30pm. LUNCARTY: A coffee morning will be held at Luncarty Church on Saturday between 10am and 11.30am.

Teas, coffees and a baking stall will be on offer and all are welcome to attend. PITCAIRNGR­EEN: This year’s spring craft fayre will take place in the village hall on Saturday May 13 between 10.30am and 3.30pm.

There will be 25 craft stalls featuring preserves, knitwear, woodturnin­g, jewellery, homeware, gifts and pottery.

Anyone looking to attend is reminded to be aware of the roadworks at Lochty and to use the alternativ­e route via the A9 Luncarty junction. PERTH: The 2017 annual general meeting of the Gaelic Society of Perth will take place in St Matthew’s Church Hall on Tay Street on Friday May 12 at 7.30pm.

All members of the society are invited.

The annual Gaelic service will be held at the Congregati­onal Church in Kinnoul Street on Sunday June 4 from 3pm, when the Rev Angus Morrison will take the service.
