The recent sale of prime sheep at Forfar Mart incorporated the Tayside Suffolk Breeders Club annual show and sale.
The event, which was judged by Ewart Fairlie, of Letham, was sponsored by East Coast Viners and Lawrie & Symington. Heifers (27) sold to a top of 260p per kg for a 526 kg Limousin from Nethermyres and purchased by JB Penman, Butchers, Crail, and also £1,448.66 for a Limousin from West Bog and purchased by James Ewart Ltd. to average 223p per kg.
