Prom looking for stage hopeful

-

A young stage hopeful will be added to the superstar line-up of this summer’s Glamis Prom.

Producers have revealed they are looking for a talented youngster to perform the hit song Tomorrow, from the popular musical Annie, at the open-air Glamis Castle spectacular on July 15.

The lucky youngster will also enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime experience of sharing the stage with Lee Mead, Jai McDowall, Christina Bianco and headliner Susan Boyle.

Show producer Peter Ferguson said: “We are going all out on all the musical favourites for Glamis this year and no show would be complete without a number from Annie.

“We thought this would be the ideal opportunity to showcase local up-and-coming talent, and we’re hopeful of finding our Annie.”

Young hopefuls should email a video to info@glamisprom. com marked Search For Annie.

Applicants must be aged between eight and 14.

Their submission should include either a YouTube link or a good-quality video clip that clearly shows their performing abilities.

They must also have the permission of a parent or guardian.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 16.

Britain’s Got Talent star Boyle is making a return to the Angus event having thrilled the Glamis Castle crowd in 2015 when she took to the stage with West End superstar Elaine Paige.
