Police to speak to Kinross youths after CCTV camera damaged

Police in Kinross will be speaking to three youths after their images were linked to the vandalism of a CCTV camera.

The incident took place at around 9pm on June 2 at Lochleven Mills, Kinross.

Meanwhile, vandals damaged fencing surroundin­g the tennis court at King George’s Jubilee Park, Main Street, Methven, between May 24 and 31.

A police spokespers­on said someone had climbed over the fence and then pulled it up causing a large hole in the structure.

Officers are also trying to trace thieves that stole two Combi heating boilers from a constructi­on site at Cairns Crescent, Perth, between May 18 and June 2.

And vandals damaged paintwork on a black Nissan X-Trail which had been parked in the Dewar’s Ice Rink car park, Perth, between May 30 and June 2.

A grey Toyota Celica car that had been parked in St Leonard’s Bank, Perth, was damaged between 12.30pm and 1.20pm on June 2.

Police are also looking for informatio­n following the theft of a red Honda quadbike from a property in Fingask, Rait, on June 5.

Vandals smashed a double glazed window of a house in East Moulin Road, Pitlochry, at 12.05am on June 4.

And officers are appealing for informatio­n following a fire within a common close at an address in Rannoch Road, Perth. The incident took place around 3.15pm on June 3.

Elsewhere, a black Toyota Hi Lux was damaged at the South Inch car park, Perth, between 9am and 2.30pm on June 3.
