Resurfacing work on A93 will see it close overnight for two weeks
The second phase of work on a major Perthshire road, which will see it closed overnight for a further two weeks, will begin this evening.
The A93, which runs between Perth and Aberdeen, will undergo resurfacing on a section north of the Spittal of Glenshee at Rhiedorrach. The work will continue until June 30.
During that time, the road will be closed Monday to Friday, 8pm to 6am. The road will be open as normal to traffic on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights during the period of the works.
During the overnight closure, the diversion route for vehicles will be via the A93, A926, A90, A92, A957 and back on to the A93.
The first phase was completed on Friday.
