ERROL. President Helen Mitchell welcomed members. Prizes: points cup – 1 J Lawson, 2 E Lewis, M Kelly; flower of the month – J Lawson. Three members were required for the committee and Marion Barnett was elected and Betty Lewis and Gladys Fairbairn were reelected. Competitio­ns: miniature bottle of alcohol – 1 R Cameron, 2 E Symon, 3 E Rodger; cheese scones – 1 F Ramsay, 2 M Kelly, 3 M Robson; flower of the month – J Lawson.

KILRY. Committee: A Bryce, I Buick, M Darroch, J Donaldson, P Donaldson, M Hadden and M Thom. Arthur Lawrence from Alyth demonstrat­ed potting vegetables in containers. Competitio­ns: flower of month: 1 E Kydd, 2 J Donaldson, 3 M Darroch; banana loaf – 1 J Crichton, 2 J Donaldson, 3 M Darroch.

KINGLANDS. The annual meeting was held and Muriel Graham judged the competitio­ns. Competitio­ns: beanie hat with decoration – 1 L Thomson, 2 M Cummings, 3 J Chalmers; flower of the month – 1 L Thomson, 2 J Chalmers, 3 M Cummings; most points in the year – 1 M Cummings, 2 S McGhie.
