New major deal for council sites
Infrastructure group Robertson has secured a new contract with Perth and Kinross Council worth £1.3 million.
The group’s facilities management division will provide electrical and security maintenance services at over 200 non-domestic sites, including schools, council buildings and community centres.
The contract is for three years with a 12-month extension option and the scope of works includes intruder and fire alarms, access control, CCTV, lifts and lighting protection.
Ian Gibson, managing director of Robertson Facilities Management, said: “This is another major contract win for us, and one which we secured in the face of stiff competition.
“From the council’s perspective, we not only showcased excellent value for money but also a real capability to deliver an outstanding service throughout their estate.”
He added: “We have a strong understanding and insight into what really matters to them and this particular opportunity will enable us to make a tangible difference to their estate.”
The account builds upon Robertson’s relationship with the local authority.
In 2015, Robertson Facilities Management won a £1.5m contract to provide Hard FM at Pullar House, the local authority’s largest office building.
Robertson is one of the UK’s largest independently owned construction, infrastructure and support services companies.
