Maxwell sons’ hearing
Two of Robert Maxwell’s sons are again embroiled in bankruptcy proceedings – more than 25 years after the media tycoon died.
Yesterday a specialist judge gave businessmen Kevin and Ian Maxwell a month to pay money owed to a company.
Neither of the brothers was at a Bankruptcy and Companies Court hearing in London.
The judge, Deputy Registrar Tina Kyriakides, heard the brothers owe money to DCF (UK).
Barrister Ryan Hocking, who represented DCF, asked for the hearing to be adjourned.
He did not reveal the amount the brothers owe, but outside court sources said the sum was less than £1 million.
