SCONE: Tayside Kidney Patients’ Associatio­n is holding a prize bingo night on Friday at 7.30pm in the RDM Institute, Scone. Admission is £1 and all are welcome. COMMUNITY GALA: The annual North Perth Community Gala takes place at Seven Acres in Newhouse Road on Saturday between noon and 4pm.

Participan­ts will include Letham Residents Associatio­n, Tulloch Community Group and Letham Football Club.

All are welcome to attend. KIRK TOWER: The next in the summer series of visits to the tower of St John’s Kirk will be held on Saturday between 2pm and 3.45pm.

It will offer a great opportunit­y to get a different perspectiv­e on Perth and to see the famous bells up close. FOOTBALL: Auchterard­er Juniors are looking for players born in the year 2004 to join their team.

The side train on Monday and Thursday nights and play matches on a Saturday morning in the Forthvalle­y League.

Anyone interested should call Moira Robertson on 07500 904202. CATHEDRAL TOURS: Free 30-minute guided tours of Dunblane Cathedral will be on offer every Sunday afternoon during July and August, between 2pm and 4pm.

The tours will offer the chance to hear stories about the cathedral’s 750-year history and explore its gothic architectu­re and stained glass windows.

They will be led by members of the Society of Friends of Dunblane Cathedral and there is no need to book. CRAFT FAIR: Following a major refurbishm­ent of its premises at Scott Street, Perth Methodist Church will host a Craft Fair on Saturday October 21.
