Ap­peal for wit­nesses to Perth and Kin­ross crimes

Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion af­ter van­dals dam­aged roof slates and gut­ter­ing at a Perthshire school.

The in­ci­dent took place be­tween June 16 and 19, when a scare­crow was up­rooted from a nurs­ery gar­den at Com­rie Pri­mary School and placed on an out­build­ing roof.

Else­where, graf­fiti was spray painted on a bike shel­ter and around the en­trance of Stan­ley Pri­mary School be­tween June 17 and 18.

Mean­while, a man in­de­cently ex­posed him­self to a woman on a public foot­path be­tween Al­mond­bank and the North Inch, near to In­veral­mond In­dus­trial Es­tate, Perth, around 12.45pm on Mon­day.

Of­fi­cers are trying to trace a man who smashed a win­dow at Scot­bet, Lower Mill Street, Blair­gowrie, at around 2.30am on Satur­day.

Thieves stole a quan­tity of power tools fol­low­ing a break-in at a build­ing site on Nimmo Av­enue, Perth, be­tween Satur­day and Sun­day.

A whacker plate, a com­pres­sor and a gen­er­a­tor were all stolen from a con­struc­tion site near to Auld Bond Road, Perth, be­tween June 23 and 26.

Van­dals dam­aged a black Ford Fo­cus which had been parked in Melville Street, Perth, be­tween June 25 and 26, and a black Vaux­hall As­tra was also dam­aged around the same time.

Po­lice are also look­ing for help af­ter the theft of a black TCR Ad­vance moun­tain bike from a garage in Abbey Road, Scone, be­tween May 20 and June 7. Thieves stole a black and blue BMX bike from out­side a prop­erty in Ash­grove Ter­race, Rat­tray, overnight be­tween Satur­day and Sun­day.
