STRAWBERRY FAYRE: Scone Remembers will host a fundraisin­g strawberry fayre in the Scone New Church Halls tomorrow between 2 and 4pm.

Tickets are available in advance from the Post Office or on the door on the day.

Scone Remembers is a registered charity with the aim of creating a memorial walk and gardens around the parish to commemorat­e the lives of the 71 local men who died during the First World War.

MUSIC: Glenfarg Folk Club’s next meeting takes place at Backstage at the Green Hotel in Kinross on Monday, when it will take the form of a “Singaround”.

Then, on July 10, the club will host singer and entertaine­r Bob Fox, renowned as “The Songman” in the stage show War Horse.

Doors open at 7.30pm.

FUNDING: The Alyth Hill Users Group has received a £1,398 grant from the National Lottery.

The group works to maintain and promote use of the community woodland for local people.

It will use its grant to develop a children’s bike club by training new volunteers and providing more advanced training for existing volunteers.

AGM: Perth Citizens Advice Bureau holds its 2017 annual general meeting in Perth Concert Hall on Friday August 18 at 2pm.

Guest speaker will be Rory Mair, the newly appointed chairman of Citizens Advice Scotland.
