Exhibition of Scottish artist’s wildlife work
An exhibition of watercolour and oil paintings by one of the UK’s leading wildlife artists, Colin Woolf, has opened in Perth’s Fair Maid’s House.
Hosted by the Royal Scottish Geographical Society (RSGS) in its Perth headquarters, the exhibition is open to the public and will run until the end of July.
RSGS spokesperson Gemma McDonald said: “We are truly excited to be hosting some of Colin’s work.
“His painting are mesmerising and capture some of Scotland’s most beloved wildlife and landscapes.
“Colin’s paintings, done solely using the pin feathers of a woodcock, are absolutely astounding and must be seen to be believed.
“We hope people will take this opportunity to view Colin’s work and have a chat with the artist.”
Members of the public are invited at the visitor centre from 1 to 4.30pm from Tuesdays to Saturdays.
The artist will be in Perth on July 8, 15 and 22, painting and chatting to visitors.
