Defender expected to make Dark Blues debut at Gayfield

Dundee fans will get their first chance to see new signing Jack Hendry in action today,

The 22-year-old central defender, signed from Wigan Athletic earlier this week on a two-year deal, is expected to make his debut against Arbroath in a friendly at Gayfield.

He will be joined on the park by trialist trio Crescendo van Berkel, Glen Kamara and Nils Rutten, who all featured in the win over St Mirren in Paisley on Tuesday night.

As well as catching sight of Hendry, today’s match against the Red Lichties will give Dundee fans a chance to see fellow new boys Scott Allan, Randy Wolters, Roarie Deacon and Lewis Spence.

The match kicks off at 3pm and is pay at the gate (adults £10, concession­s £5 and parent and child £12).
