Launch of Dundee United strip

Dundee United got their players on board to launch their kit for the 2017-18 season.

The Tangerines took to the decks of RRS Discovery to show off the new-look home strips.

United players Scott Fraser, William Edjenguele, Lewis Toshney and Patrick N’Koyi were all willing models.

The shirt features tangerine raglan sleeves with black stripes and side insets and is on sale in the club shop.

Meanwhile, United ran out 1-0 winners in their closeddoors game against Blackpool at St Andrews yesterday.

Midfielder Fraser scored the winner, a left-foot shot after 29 minutes.

Trialist keeper Deniz Mehmet kept Blackpool out with some fine saves, the pick of the bunch coming with just six minutes left.

Left-back Paul Dixon made a surprise appearance for United.
