Q Who’s your food hero?
A My husband Christopher Trotter – Fife’s Food Amabassador. And Geoffrey Smeddle, chef patron of The Peat Inn.
Q What is your go-to ingredient? A Our own eggs.
Q Your house is on fire, what one item do you save? A My phone.
Q Last meal on earth? A Christopher’s wild duck terrine, sirloin steak, cooked blue.
Q Dream dinner party guests? A Our friends.
Q First thing you’d do if you won £1 million? A Build a modern eco house.
Q Quiet night in or big night out? A Dinner for two – out or in.
Q City break or weekend in the country?
A Weekend in the country – ours being midweek as I am always working on Saturday and Sunday.
Q Early bird or night owl?
A Night owl – working until midnight sometimes so that I can play tennis during the day.
Q Save it or spend it? A Half and half. Life is too short not to spend some of it.
Q Couch potato or fitness fanatic? A Fitness – squash, tennis, pilates, walking.
Q Home or abroad? A Both equally.
Q Rebel rebel or teacher’s pet? A Neither – bit boring really.
Q If you could turn back the clock what one thing would you change? A I would have liked to have been a war photographer.
Q Early or late? A Early, never late.
Q Hardest thing you’ve had to give up? A Chocolate – but only occasionally.
Q Biggest regret? A No point in regrets.
Q What are you proudest of? A My two boys.
Q Who do you admire most? A My mum.
Q What advice would you give to your younger self? A Always live for the moment, be kind and work hard.
Q What three words would your best friend use to describe you? A Organised, snippy and thoughtful (I hope).
Q What keeps you awake at night? A Hot flushes!
Q Sweet or savoury? A Savoury (apart from chocolate!)
Q What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do? A It’s coming up – giving a talk to 100 members at Livingston Camera club.
Q Where’d you rather be right now? A Behind a camera.
Q What was the worst punishment you had as a child? A Being made to apologise to the whole class for some misdoing.
Q Who would you like to thank? A All my friends for being there.
