Lawrie and Symington had forward 23 prime cattle, one OTM and 745 prime sheep. Prime cattle:
Bullocks (eight) sold to a top of 251p per kg for a 616kg Limousin from Nethermyres and purchased by WE Fairlie Ltd, Letham, and also to £1,563.10 for a 638kg Limousin, also from Nethermyres, and purchased by J Chapman (Butchers) Ltd, Wishaw, to average 239p per kg. Heifers (15) sold to a top of 261p per kg and £1,492.92 for a 572kg Limousin from West Bog and purchased by JB Penman, Crail, to average 247p per kg.
