Daughter of Frankel should benefit from step down in grade

QUEEN KINDLY was quietly fancied in the Sprint Cup at Haydock, having won a Listed race at Pontefract with a bit of panache.

The daughter of Frankel was overwhelmed in the Group One on Merseyside, though, so trainer Richard Fahey has decided to shuffle her back down in grade for the Scottish Fillies’ Sprint Stakes at Ayr.

William Haggas is convinced the ground will be right up Sainted’s street. However, Queen Kindly won the Lowther at York last summer so it almost goes without saying that a race like this is cosily within her compass.
