Kindly back Queen at Ayr

Daughter of Frankel should benefit from step down in grade

- The FerreT

QUEEN KINDLY was quietly fancied in the Sprint Cup at Haydock, having won a Listed race at Pontefract with a bit of panache.

The daughter of Frankel was overwhelmed in the Group One on Merseyside, though, so trainer Richard Fahey has decided to shuffle her back down in grade for the Scottish Fillies’ Sprint Stakes at Ayr.

William Haggas is convinced the ground will be right up Sainted’s street. However, Queen Kindly won the Lowther at York last summer so it almost goes without saying that a race like this is cosily within her compass.

Declan Carroll is expecting a big run from ABEL HANDY in the Shadwell Stud/EBF Stallions Harry Rosebery Stakes.

The son of Arcano was beaten half a length when second to Sound And Silence in the Listed Roses Stakes at York on his latest start and the winner franked the form with Group Three success in France on Wednesday.

The meeting is subject to an inspection this morning after yesterday’s card was washed out.

Meanwhile, DREAM OF DREAMS can secure his second victory in a week in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Cup at Newbury.

This Listed event looks challenging, to say the least, but it is interesting Sir Michael Stoute sends this four-year-old into battle just six days after hitting the target at Lingfield.

He dotted up in a seven-furlong conditions stakes last Saturday, having made a subdued start under Stoute.

The former Kevin Ryan inmate is clearly in a happy place this autumn and now has that crucial momentum behind him.

It is also good to see Ryan Moore involved for the first time.

DANCE THE DREAM

is fully expected to take top honours in the Dubai Duty Free Handicap.

Marcus Tregoning’s filly has been off the track since May, but that should not be too much of an inconvenience in this valuable mile-and-a-half encounter. SELECTIONS:
