Midfielder working toward run in team

Dundee’s Mark O’Hara insists he will continue to work as hard as he can to nail down a regular place in manager Neil McCann’s first-choice starting XI,

The 21-year-old midfielder has endured a frustrating start to the season, being in and out of the team.

O’Hara did start against Celtic in the Betfred Cup last Wednesday but had to be content coming off the bench during the Premiership draw with Kilmarnock on Saturday.

Now, he hopes he did enough in his cameo performance at Rugby Park to convince McCann that he deserves to line up against Hearts this weekend.

O’Hara said: “I have not had a run in the team at all yet this season.

“It has been quite frustrating but I think it is due to the
