ATHLETIC continued unbeaten under boss Jim Finlayson.

Finlayson described it as a good, hard-working performance, with his only disappointment being the concession of the two goals.

Jamie Winter put the Fed ahead after nine minutes and doubled their advantage in 28 minutes.

Kevin Milne prodded home the third on the hour mark and Graham Hay added number four midway through the second half.

A Sam Simpson penalty and a Graham Hay own goal gave the Gowfers hope, but that was quickly extinguished by Milne scoring another two for his hat-trick.

Broughty Athletic have announced that defender Drew Fleming is up for sale.

Just before half-time, visiting skipper Brian Morgan was red-carded and very early in the second-half substitute Gary Fergus headed Swifts’ second.

Darren Cummins was then dismissed to leave Sauchie two men down.

Jamie Reid added a third 12 minutes from time.
