Police appeal after cyclist bitten by dog at beauty spot

Police are appealing for informatio­n after a cyclist was bitten by dog at a Perth beauty spot.

Officers want to trace a man and a teenage boy who were seen walking with the animal on Kinnoull Hill at the time.

The incident happened around 3.30pm on Friday.

The man was aged between 50 and 70, with grey balding hair. He was wearing a blue polo shirt, khaki chinos and brown walking boots and had a black jacket tied around his waist.

The boy was thin with short, fair hair. He was wearing a St Johnstone tracksuit top, blue jeans and black walking boots.

Elsewhere, thieves broke into the Azaad Tandoori in Main Street, Invergowri­e, overnight and stole a small sum of money from the till.

The raid happened between 11.15pm on October 5 and 11.45am on October 6.

Three windows of a bus were damaged as it pulled up at a stop on Viewlands Road West, Perth.

Police would like to speak to a group of youths who were seen in the area around the time the vehicle was hit.

A white Ford Transit van was seen fly-tipping old tyres by the roadside at Necessity Brae, Perth, on Sunday.

The incident happened near Woodhead of Mailer Farm around noon.

Two industrial carpet driers were stolen from a close at Bute Drive, Perth, between October 4 and 5.

Vandals damaged tyres of a cream Mini One car in Potterhill Gardens, Perth, between 8am and 3.45pm on Tuesday.
