Fun porridge day helps create a stir for charity’s African efforts

Birnam Arts invited people for a special breakfast to celebrate World Porridge Day.

In exchange for a charitable donation, guests were able to enjoy a wide range of oat-based dishes and enjoy a storytelling session.

All proceeds from the event will go to Mary’s Meals, which provides nutrition for some of the world’s poorest children.

In Malawi and Liberia, the charity’s feeding programmes helps children receive vitamin-enriched maize porridge every school day.
