Rescue ships had by nightfall picked up the bodies of 60 of the 65 people aboard a British Comet jet airliner which crashed into the Mediterranean off the Turkish coast early yesterday. The bodies were taken on board Greek, Hungarian and Turkish ships after a day-long search of the area where the London-Cyprus plane went down. King Constantine flew from Athens to survey the crash scene from a Greek Royal Air Force helicopter. There were 20 British passengers aboard.
