About Trees
Off the Rails Arthouse Ladybank, October 14-21
Off the Rails Arthouse, the quirky art venue at Ladybank railway station, is set to play host to an exhibition by three artists whose work explores trees.
Former Ceres resident Jane Murray, Renira Barnes from Northumberland and Sheila Page from Cupar have brought together a body of work including drawings, paintings and prints capturing woodland, leaves, bark and trees in the landscape.
While the pieces produced by each of the artists reveals a strikingly different perspective, Jane, Renira and Sheila all approach the subject of studying trees and observing them directly from life.
The exhibition perfect for anyone who is interested in enjoying nature in all its glory including walkers and gardeners.
A programme of workshops for adults and children has also been developed by the artists.
