Cash boost for Perth Football Memories project

St Johnstone Community Trust has received £4,000 in funding from Perth’s Tesco stores to support its Football Memories project.

Run in conjunction with Alzheimer Scotland, trained volunteers speak with dementia sufferers about the sport in an effort to help them recall past experiences.

At St Johnstone’s McDiarmid Park home are Tesco community champion Fiona Smith, Football Memories member George Aitken and volunteer Anne Mailer.
