Police seeking informatio­n about a number of crimes in Perthshire

Thieves targeted a constructi­on site between the Broxden and Inveralmon­d roundabout­s in Perth and made off with a haul of items.

Several pieces of machinery were taken, along with high visibility vests, hard hats, tools and a CB radio. The raid happened on October 18 or 19.

Elsewhere, electric fencing, poles and a battery were stolen from a field at Mains of Cultmalund­ie, Tibbermore, between October 19 and 21.

A red Vauxhall Corsa was badly damaged while it was parked at Murray Royal Hospital, Perth, between 1.50pm and 5.30pm on October 22.

The vehicle’s paintwork was dented and scratched.

Two tyres belonging to a silver Vauxhall Corsa were punctured between 5pm and 7.30pm on October 20 while the car was parked at the rear of Cargill Place, Perth.

Vandals damaged a black Ford Mondeo parked in Princes Street, Perth, between 2.30pm and 7.30pm on October 20.

And a dashcam camera was stolen from a Fiat 500, which was parked in McKenzie Court, Perth, overnight on October 21 and 22.

A pane of glass was smashed on the fire exit door of McDonalds in Dunkeld Road, Perth, around 2.40am on October 22.

Police are hunting a man in his late teens or early twenties, who was wearing a red cap, green hooded top, black Adidas T-shirt, light coloured jeans and white trainers.

Vandals also struck in Auchterard­er, breaking two windows at a house in Montrose Road by throwing apples at them. The attack happened on the afternoon of October 20.
