LUNCARTY:

The Luncarty Lunch Club meets in the Church centre on Monday at 11am.

Guest speaker John Taylor, who runs the commercial beekeeping business Beeware at Inver, will talk about honey.

ERROL:

Errol Pensioners will hold a prize bingo tea at the Masonic Lodge on the High Street on Thursday November 16, with eyes down at 7.30pm.

MUSIC:

Glenfarg Folk Club’s annual song competitio­n takes place at Backstage at the Green Hotel in Kinross on Monday from 7.30pm.

Performers are invited to compete for the Sandy Watt Quaich, with entry £2.

PROSTATE CANCER: The next meeting of the Perth and Kinross Prostate Cancer Support Group will be held in the Salutation Hotel in Perth on Tuesday at 1.30pm.

The speaker will be Morag Carroll from the palliative day care team at the Cornhill Macmillan Centre, based at Perth Royal Infirmary.

BREAST CANCER:

Perth and Kinross Breast Cancer Support group is staging an aromathera­py evening in Letham St Mark’s Church in Perth on Monday, between 6 and 9pm.

BURNS CLUB:

Perth Burns Club will welcome former Perth and Kinross provost John Hulbert on November 14.

Mr Hulbert will give a talk entitled Perth – a Place in Scotland’s History.

The event will be held at the Salutation Hotel and will begin at 7.30pm.

HEARTSTART DISCOVERY COURSE:

Heartstart Discovery will run an emergency life saving course in Perth on November 18 from 10am until noon.
